ExpiredUkulele Solos: Playing and Arranging

Want to learn to play instrumental solos on the ukulele? How about learning some of the basics of how to make your own arrangements. In this 2 week workshop, we’ll learn 2 arrangements, one that I’ve prepared for you, and one that you will arrange yourself. To help you master playing them, you’ll get access to Soundslice online learning tools that make practicing really effective and enjoyable.

You’ll learn:

• 2 chord solo arrangements of popular songs
• How to combine the melody with chords.
• A few strategies for fleshing out and decorating our basic arrangements.

This workshop is open to anyone who is interested though it is helpful if you have taken Beginner Part 2 or at least have some experience reading either tablature notation or standard notation for the ukulele. | If you’re looking for a ukulele project to really sink your teeth into, this is it.
